Bittersweet Nightshade Solanum dulcamara
Family: Solanaceae (Tomato)
Branching: Alternate

This is a low-growing vine that often has greenish stems.  Its red berries are often visible in the winter.  They are bright, slightly elongated and POISONOUS!  They actually look similar to the berries of Barberry.  When leaves can be found, they are unique in being lobed and arrow-shaped.
